when you give in to that energy the one that says love me, choose me, see me, validate me that’s the moment you abandon yourself.
And when you do that, don’t be surprised when the world follows your lead….. Even if you get it and think I’ve got it now, the moment they take it back, you’ll feel empty again.
You do it because when you were small, you had to earn the love. And why would a child not believe everything they were told and taught , especially a good child, eager to learn, eager to please and be praised? Eager to get gold stars and good grades? So you had to twist, shrink, perform, become something you weren’t, just to be seen, to be acknowledged.
Love became a transaction. A bargain. A currency. And in that game, survival meant losing yourself your voice, your needs, your truth just to survive in their eyes. And here we are.
And let’s be real, nobody around you knew what real love even was. Not the kind that sees you, just as you are, without any conditions. Not the kind that holds you, without asking you to shrink, or change, or fit into a box. They were only passing down what they were taught….
And even now, what we call “love”? It’s often just attachment, fear, control, and projection wearing a mask. It’s a script. A performance.
What if everything you’ve known is a lie?
Maybe love was never outside of you
Maybe it’s not something you get, but something you are
Maybe it’s not something you chase, but something you remember to
What if love is the moment you awaken from the grief of having abandoned yourself, only to return home to you?
Because if love, truth, and worth were always within you,
then what happens to all the things you’ve built on the outside?
The people you’ve surrounded yourself with
The roles you’ve played
The masks you’ve worn
All of it.
What happens to that?
What is love, really? And are you ready to be the one who finally dares to discover it for yourself?
Because if you keep looking for the world, your partner, family , friends to hand them to you, it’ll end up dictating how you feel and what you believe you deserve.
And babe, that’s a broke way to sell yourself.
Sending you moonlight & Truth
